Davis Bottom is primarily the story of the people who made this neighborhood special. But, it’s also the story of places - the architectural history of the community’s homes, buildings, schools and churches. Most of the historic buildings in Davis Bottom are gone. Yet, the role these structures played in the lives of residents is preserved in documents, photographs, surveys and the memories of the people who used them.
